To design and build an online environment for 8 of DIRECTV's customer segments, including South Asian, Chinese, Korean, Russian, Filipino, Brazilian, Vietnamese and Greek. Each website was built in the applicable language, paying close attention to culture specific preferences and usability patterns, whilst maintaining simplicity and easy to manage content features on the CMS. From the beginning we identified that the key to success of the DIRECTV International hub was in the architecture of its development. The site had to be built to handle complex applications but constructed in a way that was simple to manage. Findr Interactive utilized the Ruby on Rails platform to create a content management system capable of maintaining a constantly updated website whilst managing the relationships with programmers and vendors to ensure content was relevant, illustrated in the high quality style the DIRECTV brand stands for and delivered on time.
